Manufacturing Method For Pant Leg Bottoms

View page
US Patent:
20110265249, Nov 3, 2011
Filed:
Jun 2, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/802225
Inventors:
Brandon Solotoff - Nutley NJ, US
International Classification:
A41D 1/06
B26D 5/00
US Classification:
2227, 83 72
Abstract:
A method for creating a series of size-proportioned trouser bottoms comprises each of the slack bottoms being approximated as a cylindrical surface transitioning into a circular conical surface. The back lower portion of the circular conical surface is trimmed along a cutting plane to produce a parabolic-shaped rear edge, to provide rear clearance above a shoe heel. The front lower portion of the circular conical surface is trimmed along second cutting plane producing a unique parabolic-shape front edge for clearance above a shoe throat. Trimming may be by a CNC fabric cutting machine, using the descriptive geometric definition of the circular conical surface, (x/α)+(y/β)(z/γ)=0, and using planar cuts for the parabolic edge trim defined by the equation, Ax+Γz+Δ=0. The defined surface may be unwrapped and supplied to the CNC machine as a flat pattern.

Umbrella

View page
US Patent:
20120111381, May 10, 2012
Filed:
Oct 7, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/269015
Inventors:
Brandon Solotoff - New York NY, US
International Classification:
A45B 25/20
A45B 11/00
US Classification:
135 201, 135 337
Abstract:
An umbrella that offers improved performance in windy conditions is disclosed that includes an umbrella cover that has a plurality of gills positioned throughout its surface to allow for the release of air pressure caused by wind that impacts the umbrella cover. A flap portion may be positioned over each of the gills so that the flap is raised when wind gusts blow into the umbrella in order to permit the release of air from the umbrella. This reduces the risk that the umbrella could blow inside out or reverse itself. The flap is also preferably positioned over the slit in order to prevent water from going through the umbrella and wetting the umbrella's handler.

Brassiere With Adjustable Support

View page
US Patent:
20120208433, Aug 16, 2012
Filed:
May 2, 2011
Appl. No.:
13/068100
Inventors:
Brandon Solotoff - Nutley NJ, US
International Classification:
A41C 1/14
US Classification:
450 53
Abstract:
An adjustable support brassiere comprises the traditional bra elements of a bra band with closure; breast cups secured thereto; and respective shoulder straps. Adjustability may comprise mini support cups pivotally attached at a selective location on each breast cup. A respective support strap may be secured to a portion of each mini support cup, with a distal end adjustably securable to the shoulder strap to be moveable between at least first and second positions to cause pivoting of the mini support cup to produce directional support according to a desirable lifting vector. Adjustment of the support strap may produce a lifting vector to provide directional support comprising substantially vertical support and outward separating support to enhance the women's figure, which is healthier for breast tissue than the typical inward displacement of the woman's breasts. A second embodiment may utilize a translating mini support cup and a gathered elastic member.

Brassiere With Customizable Vertical Lift

View page
US Patent:
20120302135, Nov 29, 2012
Filed:
Apr 26, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/456398
Inventors:
Brandon Solotoff - Nutley NJ, US
International Classification:
A41C 3/12
A41C 3/10
US Classification:
450 52, 450 59, 450 41
Abstract:
An adjustable support brassiere comprises traditional bra elements—a bra band with closure; breast cups; and respective shoulder straps. Adjustability may comprise inner support cups having opposite ends being selectively attached on each breast cup, and a respective support strap being secured to each inner support cup, with a distal end of the support strap secured to an adjustment clip, which may releasably secure a portion of the shoulder strap. Adjustably securing different portions of the shoulder strap causes lifting and reconfiguring of the inner support cup to produce a desired amount of substantially vertical lifting to the woman's breast(s) in one embodiment, which is generally healthier for breast tissue than the typical inward displacement. Adjustments may be made by a woman throughout the day to alter her appearance as desired. Alternative embodiments permit lifting as well as inward/outward displacement, and may therefore serve as a minimizer.

Back Brace Belt And Apparatus And Method Of Belt Length Adjustment Therefore

View page
US Patent:
20220296404, Sep 22, 2022
Filed:
Apr 19, 2022
Appl. No.:
17/723918
Inventors:
- Hollywood FL, US
Brandon Solotoff - Boca Raton FL, US
Assignee:
Preferred Prescription, Inc. - Hollywood FL
International Classification:
A61F 5/02
Abstract:
A back brace includes: a back plate; left and right cord plates each slidably mounted to left and right sides of the back plate, respectively, and to which first and second flexible belt members are respectively secured; and a cord guide arrangement for each plate to particularly direct first and second cords. Each of the left and right cord plates include a pair of concentric cord guides, each of which are formed of a circular segment that is 180 degrees or less. The first cord is selectively wound around the pair of concentric cord guides on the upper portions of the left and right cord plates, while the second cord is selectively wound around the pair of concentric cord guides on the lower portion of the cord plates, so pulling on the cords provides a mechanical advantage to buckle the plate to exert a compressive force on the patient's torso.

View page
US Patent:
20190223631, Jul 25, 2019
Filed:
Jan 23, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/254790
Inventors:
Brandon Solotoff - Great Neck NY, US
International Classification:
A47G 9/10
Abstract:
An adjustable pillow is disclosed that includes an air inflatable bladder housed within a casing. The inflatable bladder is retained in a central portion of the casing by one or more support members that extend from an exterior surface of the bladder to an interior surface of the casing. The bladder is also in fluid communication with an air pump to inflate the bladder and a nozzle to deflate the bladder to a desired size and firmness. In addition, pillow stuffing may be placed within the casing between the exterior surface of the bladder and the interior surface of the casing to provide cushioning. In operation, the bladder may be inflated to a desired size and firmness and the pillow placed in a location to provide support and/or comfort. The support and/or comfort provided by the bladder may be adjusted by inflating or deflating the bladder.
