View page
US Patent:
20110301835, Dec 8, 2011
Filed:
Oct 23, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/910790
Inventors:
James Bongiorno - Huntington NY, US
International Classification:
G06Q 10/00
G06F 17/30
G01C 21/00
US Classification:
701201, 705 5, 707705, 707E17044
Abstract:
A portable device for planning a vacation/business travel itinerary, which begins with customizable itinerary templates that utilize a stored database of destination information, including a country's regions/cities, tourist sites, and other sites of interest located therein, and a corresponding photographic library. One such template returns itineraries based upon: duration, arrival/departure cities, total number of cities to be visited, and intensity of touring. The software assists users during travel by providing cueing of itinerary segments, along with directions, and on-demand pre-recorded audio tours to enhance site tour experiences. En route detours from planned sites are supported for spontaneous additions/substitutions. Country-specific information includes city/regional maps, public transportation information, key word/phrase language translation capability, and yellow/white page phone listings. Password protected device-to-device linking permits family members to track each other by GPS location of the other's device. Internet capability permits inclusion, within itineraries, of reservation-specific information for air-travel, hotels, and events.

View page
US Patent:
20200093233, Mar 26, 2020
Filed:
Apr 15, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/384586
Inventors:
James Bongiorno - Huntington NY, US
International Classification:
A45C 5/00
A45C 13/02
A45C 11/00
A45C 13/00
A45C 5/03
Abstract:
A case assembly is configured for organized carrying of toiletries in a leak-proof manner within a suitcase, and for subsequent displaying of the toiletries within the case on a vanity countertop, particularly on hotel/motel and other guest-like bathroom vanities. A contour of an exterior portion of the case assembly is configured to corresponding/match a contoured portion of the suitcase interior, and to have an extent matching a full depth of the suitcase, to optimize space occupied therein. The case assembly includes: a case; a seal member; a cover configured to enclose the opening in the case, in a closed position; a cover support arm permitting selective pivotal movements of the cover; a latch to secure the cover in a leak-proof manner, in the closed position; and a display arm pivotally coupled to the cover, and configured to support the opened case cover at a desired display angle.

Lavatory Enclosure-To-Toilet Device With Replaceable Cartridge For Hygienic Support Of Lowered Slacks

View page
US Patent:
20190174978, Jun 13, 2019
Filed:
Feb 5, 2018
Appl. No.:
15/888973
Inventors:
James Bongiorno - Huntington NY, US
International Classification:
A47K 17/02
F16M 13/02
Abstract:
A slacks valet mechanism, to prevent the slacks of a user of a lavatory stall toilet from becoming soiled by preventing its contact with the floor, includes an arm coupled to the stall door/wall, being movable between stowed and deployed positions. The stowed arm is proximate to the lavatory door, and the deployed arm has a portion proximate to the toilet, to thereon receive the lowered slacks to prevent soiling. A replaceable cartridge is releasably securable to the arm, and includes first and second reels, and a hygienic tape wound upon the first reel with an end fixedly secured to the second reel. The device incrementally advances an outermost portion of the hygienic tape on the first reel onto the second reel, for each cycle of the arm between the deployed and stowed positions, thereby exposing an unused tape portion on the arm for hygienic slacks support.

System, Method, And Computer Software Code For Planning And Executing A Travel Itinerary

View page
US Patent:
20160247098, Aug 25, 2016
Filed:
Dec 2, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/691821
Inventors:
James Bongiorno - Huntington NY, US
International Classification:
G06Q 50/14
Abstract:
A computer program product for planning of, and executing a travel itinerary—while traveling to and while at the destination—is stored on tangible computer readable storage medium as computer readable program code. The code causes a P.C./Smartphone to: permit making online reservations (airline, hotel, rental car, event tickets . . . ), and to provide access via a planning screen to a database of destination-specific information, to permit selection from among a plurality of templates to begin planning a personalized scheme for exploring the destination. Selected templates, representing categories of interest, are weighted to adjust relative number of sites/specialty tours extracted therefrom for placement into available tour time periods determined from entry of: arrival/departure cities, number of days, daily touring start-times/end-times, and a tour intensity level, to personally maximize touring in those periods. An algorithm permits adjustments to site selection/sequencing in the itinerary for in-country weather detours, and re-weighting/re-selection of templates of interest.
