Energy Efficient home design. I am interested in building materials and concepts that can reduce utility costs without breaking the bank. My goal is to educate people on how they can save money on utility costs.
About:
I retired from the Department of Defense, Nuclear Weapons Directorate, in Mar 2000. I served 10 years active duty in the USAF as a nuclear weapons specialist. I decided to obtain my realtors license to help others and to use what I learned during my many reassignments in the military. I obtained my certification as an Eco-Broker in Dec 07 to assit those individuals who are interested in Green Building Science & technology and how to indentify homes that are energy efficent. I completed the RESNET Home Energy Rating (HERS) energy auditing program in Jun 07. If you are looking for a home that meets EPA/DOE Energy Star requirements or employs energy saving features, I can help you with your search.
