Tractor Unit Drive Gear Engagement Device

View page
US Patent:
20130125685, May 23, 2013
Filed:
Nov 13, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/675168
Inventors:
LINCOLN GLOBAL, INC. - City of Industry CA, US
Lane LITKE - Bonita CA, US
Colin MILLER - Boulder CO, US
Assignee:
LINCOLN GLOBAL, INC. - City of Industry CA
International Classification:
F16H 35/00
US Classification:
74405
Abstract:
A travel drive gear engagement mechanism for a tractor unit includes a clutch lever that has a cam portion. The clutch lever is configured to rotate between a first position and a second position at a point that is offset from a center of an elongated portion of the cam portion. The engagement mechanism also includes a connecting member that operatively connects the cam portion of the clutch lever to a drive gear of a tractor unit. The connecting member is operatively connected to the cam portion at the offset point. The clutch level and connecting member are configured such that the drive gear engages a track gear when the clutch lever is in the first position and disengages from the track gear when the clutch lever is in the second position.

Torch Lead/Lag Angle Adjustment Device

View page
US Patent:
20130126496, May 23, 2013
Filed:
Nov 13, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/675774
Inventors:
LINCOLN GLOBAL, INC. - City of Industry CA, US
Colin Miller - Boulder CO, US
Assignee:
LINCOLN GLOBAL, INC. - City of Industry CA
International Classification:
B23K 9/095
US Classification:
21912434
Abstract:
A lead/lag torch angle adjustment system for a weld held. The weld head device includes a torch head assembly that includes an electrode. The weld head device also includes a support device that supports the torch head assembly and a barrel assembly that is operatively connected to the torch head assembly and the support device. The barrel assembly is configured to change at least one of a lead angle and a lag angle of the electrode with respect to a workpiece. The barrel assembly includes an adjustment mechanism that includes a first section that is operatively connected to the torch head assembly. The adjustment mechanism also includes a second section that is configured to accept the mount plate. The barrel assembly also includes a mount plate that is operatively connected to the support device and at least one barrel clamp. The barrel clamp is configured to attach to the mount plate and also configured to accept the second section. In some embodiments, the second section is conical shaped, and a transverse movement of the at least one barrel clamp produces a force on the conical shaped second section that forces the second section towards the mount plate.

Bi-Axial Rolling Continuously Variable Transmission

View page
US Patent:
20130130865, May 23, 2013
Filed:
Nov 19, 2012
Appl. No.:
13/681064
Inventors:
Jared Leidich - Golden CO, US
Andrew Stephen Tomchek - Boulder CO, US
Colin Aaron Miller - Boulder CO, US
International Classification:
F16H 15/44
F16H 15/28
US Classification:
476 55
Abstract:
Continuously variable transmissions are provided. Various systems provide for co-rotating power transmission or drive members for conveying angular velocity and torque from an input, such as an engine or motor, to an output, such as a drive shaft. Angular velocity and torque input-output ratios are varied by user manipulation of at least one of the power transmission members and resulting change in orientation of curvilinear power transmission members.
