Abstract:
A solution is disclosed for traffic demand management of a transportation network. The transportation network may comprise hyperloop modes of transportation as well as non-hyperloop modes of transportation. The solution is configured to generate a socio-economic model, a land use model, an accessibility model as well as a plurality of trip models. The solution further distributes trip models among a plurality of passengers and/or cargo in order to manage traffic within the transportation network. Non-hyperloop modalities may be further associated with the trip models in order to support “last mile” service between a hyperloop portal and an origin and/or destination.

A solution is disclosed comprising a system and method for deploying a transportation network having a hyperloop network. The solution may be configured to perform processing on models related to existing land use, portal infrastructure, hyperstructure, and route usage in order to generate a deployment cost model. The deployment cost model may have a capital expenditure component and an operating costs component. The solution may generate analytics based on the processed and generated models for presentation via a user interface that is accessible by a human operator. Abstract:
The disclosed solution provides for an inland port that is configured to load and unload cargo using autonomous systems (including autonomous tractors). The inland port may be serviced by a hyperloop network (of hyperloop routes) between the seaport and the inland port. The disclosed solution may rely on autonomous hyperloop vehicles in the hyperloop network to transport the cargo containers between the seaport and the inland port. At both the seaport and the inland port, autonomous tractors may, in some implementations, be utilized to load and unload the cargo that will be carried by the hyperloop vehicle and/or the truck.

Merging transportation pods onto transportation lines. A method includes requesting movement information associated with a set of transportation pods that will pass a junction. The method also includes determining whether to merge from the second transportation line to the first transportation line via the junction at the first time based on the movement information.
