Brown was asked before the game about Dennis Marshall, the father of reserve Kendall Marshall, who criticized the reserve point guard's lack of playing time on Twitter. Brown also spoke about his relationship with Chucky Okafor, the father of the rookie center.
Chucky Okafor reportedly heckled Brown throughout Saturday's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center. Dennis Marshall called the NBA racist and ripped his son's teammates on a Twitter post Saturday night.
"We all love our children," he said. "I'm a son of a coach. I've got a little 11-year-old [Sam], and nobody is overacting. I spoke to both of them [Kendall and Dennis Marshall] about it. We will move on. . . . We love our kids and sometimes things come out and we move on."
