Abstract:
A paper towel dispenser employs a rack and gear drive actuated by a lever to rotate a feed roll to dispense the web. The gear rack is slideably supported on the inside of the dispenser cover and has a lever extending through an opening in the cover. The gear rack meshes with a gear train supported within the cabinet interior when the cover is closed.

Abstract:
An oven for drying the sealing compound on beverage and food can ends utilizes a prior art serpentine track along which a line of abutting can ends is conveyed through a drying chamber in which heated drying air is directed against the edges of the can ends through a plurality of linear nozzles. The improved apparatus of the present invention utilizes a drying chamber which substantially surrounds the track and includes a plurality of nozzles which direct a substantially uniform flow of drying air against all sides of the line of can ends. The improved apparatus is particularly effective in drying lining compounds on steel food can ends, but is suitable as well for the treatment of aluminum beverage can ends.

Abstract:
A two roll paper dispenser has roll-supporting mandrels mounted on slide blocks in a cantilevered position. The mandrels are automatically movable from a position wherein the first mandrel is located at a juncture of a first path and a second path and the second mandrel is located above the first mandrel in the first path and wherein the first mandrel can be moved from the juncture along carried thereon to open the juncture when sufficient paper is consumed from its roll. A spring engages the first mandrel slide block biasing the mandrel for movement away from the juncture, and the second mandrel slide block is biased for movement along the second path toward the juncture. The mandrels each have a proximal end attached to one of the mandrel slide blocks and a distal free end for insertion thereon of a roll of paper.

Abstract:
A toilet paper dispenser employs two cantilevered mandrels movable in a track. In one track position the lower mandrel is in a dispensing position and, when exhausted, can be moved rearwardly to enable the other cantilevered mandrel to be dropped into a dispensing position. When the lower mandrel is in the dispensing position the guide block which supports the lower mandrel in the track supports the guide block for the second mandrel in an elevated storage, non-access position.
