After a request from Wayne County Recorder Jane Carmichael, the three commissioners -- Jim Carmichael, Ann Obrecht and Scott Wiggam -- will officially declare Wednesday as "Josh Krajcik Day" at a special meeting today at 2 p.m. at the Wayne County Administration Building, 428 W. Liberty St.
Jane Carmichael suggested Wednesday because that is the day when crews from "The X Factor" will hold a watch party and live remote at Triway High School for the first night of the two-part finals of the show.
"I have asked the Wayne County commissioners to make Wednesday 'Josh Krajcik Day' here in Wayne County," Jane Carmichael said. "I've asked (Mayor) Bob Breneman to make it 'Josh Krajcik Day' here in Wooster on Wednesday and I've also asked (state Rep.) Ron Amstutz, even though they're out of session,
at the Wayne County Convention & Visitors Bureau, has also declared "Josh Krajcik Day" in Shreve on Wednesday. She and Jane Carmichael spent time Monday morning at the Wayne County offices building constructing "Go Josh" out of yellow paper to fill the windows so it could be seen from the road.
