Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a surfboard includes providing a first member having a general surfboard shape, the first member comprising high-density ethyl vinyl acetate; locating a second member on a first exterior side of the first member, wherein the second member comprises polyethylene and has a relatively thin layer shape; heating the first and second members to bond the polyethylene second member to the high-density ethyl vinyl acetate first member; and after the second member has been bonded to the first member, cooling the first and second members.
