Skills:
Incumbent specializes in the reset and phase maintenance of CH47 Chinook Drive-trains. Including, but not limited to: Critical inspection, disassembly and reassembly of oil cooling systems, replacement of all filters, screens, packings, o-rings, gaskets, and hardware along with worn pressure lines, bushings and fittings, performing numerous levels of corrosion repair, as well as surface finish in accordance with respective Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and Maintenance Engineering Calls (MEC). Incumbent is trained in general maintenance procedures for reset and phase maintenance for the CH47 Chinook and reset maintenance for the UH60 Blackhawk. Also trained in the Painting process of the UH60, CH47, and OH58 Kiowa airframe. Incumbent has experience with the tear down and upload process for CH47 C-5 load outs. Incumbent is well versed in safety standards and can recognize and analyze potential hazards to create corrective measures for safer work environments common to aviation and aerospace industries, such as aircraft hangars and specialized back shops. Incumbent can efficiently follow written and spoken instructions as well as expertly navigate IETM's and the Boeing Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS), and can discern proper interpretations from Boeing engineering drawings and schematics. Incumbent excels at building and assembling numerous types of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanized, and fuel system components for Boeing aircrafts; trained, tested, and certified in accordance with training certification documents BSS7600, BSS7604, BSS7606, BSS7611, BSS7617, and BSS7691. Incumbent has successfully portrayed role model behavior in the rehabilitation and mentorship of people with barriers to employment by building esteem and creating opportunities through training, education and successful business platforms. Incumbent retains a "can do" attitude with an eager willingness to learn, in order to meet and exceed expectations from any and all tasks assigned whether working alone or coordinating within a team.
