US Classification:
211/074000, 211/059400, 211/194000
Abstract:
A stackable storage unit may be vertically stacked for storage and transportation of storable members. The storage unit comprises at least one pair of rails extending in a first direction and having a contoured surface for supporting a surface area of a generally cylindrical storable member. At least two generally vertical walls extend in the first direction on opposing ends of the storage unit. The walls comprise a flat top surface with a plurality of alignment openings therein. A plurality of alignment tongues extending from the bottom of the wall are positioned and configured to engage corresponding alignment openings in an underlying storage unit. A rib structure underlies the rails and connects the walls to the rails. Feet extend below the bottom of the alignment tongues and support the storage unit on a generally flat surface or fit inside the walls of an underlying storage unit.

Emerson Donnell - Basking Ridge NJ, US
Daniel Kelly - Medford NJ, US
International Classification:
G11B 23/03
US Classification:
360133000
Abstract:
A storage rack comprising a storage unit housing defining at least one aperture extending longitudinally between a forward end and a rearward end. A puller assembly is positioned in the aperture and includes a longitudinal puller body that supports an engagement member adjacent a rear end thereof. The puller assembly is moveable between a first position in which the engagement member is adjacent the aperture rearward end and a second position in which the engagement member is moved toward the aperture forward end. The storage unit housing and the puller assembly are configured such that the engagement member is supported during movement between the first and second positions.

Pallet With Telescoped Leg Assemblies

US Patent:
20070234933, Oct 11, 2007
Filed:
Feb 27, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/711228
Inventors:
Emerson Donnell - Basking Ridge NJ, US
Daniel Kelly - Medford NJ, US
International Classification:
B65D 19/12
US Classification:
108056300
Abstract:
A pallet comprising first and second decks with at least two post assemblies extending between the first and second decks to maintain the first and second decks at a distance from one another. Each post assembly comprises an outer post member including a substantially hollow body extending axially from a base connected to the first deck to a free end and an inner post member including a body extending axially from a base connected to the second deck to a free end. The inner post body free end is configured to be received in the outer post body with the inner and outer posts positioned relative to one another such that at least one of the post free ends contacts the respective opposed deck and supports the first and second decks in spaced relationship.

Storage Rack With Shock Dampener

US Classification:
211 74, 248560, 248562
Abstract:
A storage rack comprising a storage unit housing defining at least one aperture extending longitudinally between a forward end and a rearward end. A shock dampener is positioned along an inner surface of the at least one aperture. A puller assembly may also be positioned in the aperture and includes a longitudinal puller body that supports an engagement member adjacent a rear end thereof.

Molded Pallet Having Corrugated Deck With Leak Identification And Retention

View page
US Patent:
58574166, Jan 12, 1999
Filed:
May 2, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/850746
Inventors:
Emerson B. Donnell - Basking Ridge NJ
Didier Winkelmann - Richmond VA
Assignee:
Polymerpallet Corp. - Richmond VA
International Classification:
B65D 1944
US Classification:
108 553
Abstract:
A plastic molded pallet includes a corrugated deck providing structural rigidity to the pallet and forming channels for directing leaking fluid away from drums. The pallet also includes a plurality of troughs for selectively collecting the leaking fluid from the channels. Corner troughs flush with the channels collect the leaking fluid from any channel having the fluid. If a corner trough overflows, mid-section troughs on each side of the corner trough begin to collect the overflowing fluid after the overflowing fluid reaches over the mid-section trough dam. If both mid-section troughs are filled, the leaking fluid then proceeds to the next adjacent corner trough, during which time the leaking drum can still be identified based upon the leakage pattern. After all corner and mid-section troughs are filled, the fluid begins collecting in a center trough. The corrugations in the deck isolate the leaking fluid from the drums, and provide concentric surfaces for supporting different-sized drums.

Bottled Water Shipping Rack

US Patent:
60269588, Feb 22, 2000
Filed:
Dec 18, 1998
Appl. No.:
9/215692
Inventors:
Daniel Kelly - Medford NJ
Emerson B. Donnell - Basking Ridge NJ
International Classification:
B65D 2100
US Classification:
206503
Abstract:
A stackable crate and modular rack system for horizontally retaining large bottles. The individual crates may be adapted to retain multiple bottles held in various configurations. The crates are designed to provide stability when stacked on top of one another to form a modular rack. The individual crates include an alignment feature, and a locking feature which also provides for sliding one stacked crate over another.

Adjustable Injection Molding Apparatus For Creating Of Products Within A Mold From Fluid Plastic Material

View page
US Patent:
55995683, Feb 4, 1997
Filed:
Aug 10, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/513470
Inventors:
Emerson B. Donnell - Basking Ridge NJ
International Classification:
B29C 4523
US Classification:
425562
Abstract:
An improved design for an injection molding apparatus for creating of products from fluid plastic material wherein a hydraulic flow divider can be used for simultaneously actuating of multiple hydraulic injectors which need not be linearly positioned. This molding apparatus is usable with a hydraulic flow divider since a unique configuration of a fixed frame with a cage mounted movably therein and a hydraulic cylinder assembly mounted movably within the cage allows the injection molding apparatus to use the same amount of hydraulic fluid during each and every stroke regardless of the length of the stroke of the rod relative to the nozzle. This unique capability is achievable by allowing the hydraulic cylinder assembly in its entirety to move within a predefined cage configuration even after the entire stroke is completed in order to allow the cylinder to accept the amount of powering hydraulic fluid associated with a single complete stroke. Further included in this design is a unique position indicating device located externally on the apparatus to indicate the relative positioning internally between the nozzle rod and the nozzle rod tip opening and to indicate the positioning of adjustment thereof.

Ajustable Injection Molding Apparatus

View page
US Patent:
55315810, Jul 2, 1996
Filed:
Mar 27, 1995
Appl. No.:
8/411192
Inventors:
Emerson B. Donnell - Basking Ridge NJ
International Classification:
B29C 4523
US Classification:
425145
Abstract:
An injection molding apparatus particularly usable for low pressure structural foam molding with improved control device for providing adjustment and controlling relative positioning between the injection molding apparatus and the mold. A novel device is included for adjusting the nozzle body with respect to the injection molding apparatus and for adjusting the nozzle rod with respect to the nozzle body. An improved device is also included for facilitating adjustment of injection stroke length and of the position of the nozzle body as well as automatic adjustment of positioning of limit switches responsive to indicate the extremes of movement during the cyclical injection stroke. Automatic and manual devices are also included for maintaining alignment between the nozzle rod and the nozzle body extending therearound.
