Abstract:
An expandable stud bracket for attachment to a 2×4, 2×6, or 4×4 board for construction of a temporary structure of support is disclosed. An embodiment of the bracket includes a receiving portion for securing the bracket to a stud, an adjustable portion opposite the receiving portion and having an extendable rod, an engagement plate attached to an end of the rod and an anchor attached to an end of the rod opposite the engagement plate and for limiting extension of the rod from the bracket, and a locking mechanism attached to the rod for preventing retraction. Optionally, a detachable foot portion may be used as part of the entire disclosed expansion system. Preferably, the extendable rod is threaded and the locking mechanism comprises a nut which can be tightened using a lever. The bracket may also accommodate angled surfaces.

A system for bottle feeding an infant comprises a bib 14, a base 16 adapted to rest on the infant, a bottle holder 18 hingeably attached to the base 16 for securing a bottle thereto, and a bib slot 20 operatively associated with the base for frictionally engaging the bib 14 so that the bit 14 is held to the base securely for purposes of feeding an infant and can be slid in and out of the slot means as desired. Pressure sensitive adhesive strips 31 and 33 may be added to bib 14 to hold the bib 14 to the infant. The bottle holder 18 is continuously angularly adjustable along a mast 22 to finely and continuously adjust the feeding rate. One end 32 of the bottle holder 18 presents a flat edge so that the bottle holder may be placed on a flat surface to position a bottle B in an upright position when the system 10 is not in use on the infant. The base 16 is contoured to fit an infant's torso with portions 48 engaging the infant's inner thigh to support the base.

A pushable cart for transporting a golf bag includes a carriage frame and cradle. The carriage frame is connected to wheels at one end and has a handle at the other end. The cradle is connected to the carriage frame in an angular relation so that the cart is generally X-shaped. The cart can be made foldable or collapsible for transportation and storage. The cart also has structurally rigid design which allows the cart to be made of light weight metal. Moreover, the carts can be made nestable to provide space economy during storage.
