Apparatus For Continuous Blending

View page
US Patent:
7347613, Mar 25, 2008
Filed:
Apr 25, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/113492
Inventors:
Joseph Ditzig - Bangor PA, US
Thomas Chirkot - Swayersville PA, US
Kiet C. Ly - Stroudsburg PA, US
Assignee:
Harsco Technologies Corporation - Fairmont MN
International Classification:
B01F 9/08
US Classification:
366219, 366224, 366323, 366235
Abstract:
The present invention provides a continuous blender having a drive unit assembly with a shell assembly mounting assembly and a shell assembly structured to be removably coupled to the shell assembly mounting assembly by one or more clamps. The drive unit assembly may be coupled to shell assemblies having different lengths and diameters. Thus, by changing the shell assembly coupled to the drive unit assembly, the output of the continuous blender may be dramatically changed.

Erosion Resistant Rock Drill Bit

View page
US Patent:
47306823, Mar 15, 1988
Filed:
Dec 23, 1985
Appl. No.:
6/812267
Inventors:
Joseph R. Ditzig - Portland PA
Assignee:
Ingersoll-Rand Company - Woodcliff Lake NJ
International Classification:
E21B 1060
US Classification:
175393
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an erosion resistant down hole rock drill bit which utilizes a radial distribution of carbide cutter bits or buttons about the exhaust hole. This minimizes carbide wash or removal of base metal which retains the carbide and thereby extends bit life.

Down Hole Drill Improvement

US Patent:
48218120, Apr 18, 1989
Filed:
Sep 8, 1988
Appl. No.:
7/243167
Inventors:
Joseph R. Ditzig - Portland PA
Assignee:
Ingersoll-Rand Company - Woodcliff Lake NJ
International Classification:
E21B 106
US Classification:
173 17
Abstract:
A fluid impact tool is disclosed of the type commonly known as a down-the-hole drill for drilling of rock. The improvement herein described increases deep hole drill performance by providing a means for accumulating piston return air in a traveling air pocket found on the piston. This effectively increases the piston front end volume so as to decrease the effect of the front end air cushion and thereby increase impact. This is particularly effective during operation with increased back pressure such as found in deep holes.
