Melanie Kirchmeier was raised in Salado. Her father, Bill Bartlett, moved his family to Salado in the early 70's to start a career in real estate. Melanie attended Salado elementary and graduated from Salado High School. She attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor before transferring to Southwestern University. She is a graduate of Southwestern University with a degree in Business Administration. Melanie obtained her real estate license in 1989 and has been active in the Temple/Belton board of Realtors, serving as Director, MLS chair and Professional Standards Chair. She is Past President of the Temple/Belton Board of Realtors. Melanie is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). She is a member of the three local Multiple List Services; Temple/Belton, Killeen, and Austin. Melanie has 22 years of real estate experience. Melanie is also active in the Salado community, having served on the Salado Chamber of Commerce, Salado Education Foundation, and Friends Feeding Friends boards. Melanie is married to Bob Roemer.
