Abstract:
A next generation NodeB (gNB) implements a radio access network (RAN) convergence functionality for new radio (NR) and wireless local area network (WLAN) access, the gNB further implementing a split architecture comprising a central unit (CU) and a distributed unit (DU) for each of the NR access and WLAN access. The gNB receives a data packet for transmission to a user equipment (UE) implementing the RAN convergence functionality, the data packet comprising one of a control plane (CP) packet or a user plane (UP) packet. The gNB splits the data packet via a convergence layer residing on the NR CU or a convergence layer residing on the WLAN CU and transmits the split data packet over the NR access and the WLAN access.

Abstract:
A method, device, and system for evaluating a vessel of a patient, and in particular the hemodynamic impact of a stenosis within the vessel of a patient. Proximal and distal pressure measurements are made using first and second instrument while the first instrument is moved longitudinally through the vessel from a first position to a second position and the second instrument remains in a fixed longitudinal position within the vessel. A series of pressure ratio values are calculated, and a pressure ratio curve is generated. One or more stepped change in the pressure ratio curve are then identified and/or located using an Automatic Step Detection (ASD) process and/or algorithm. The ASD includes identifying a general position of a starting point of the stepped change by identifying a change in the pressure ratio values within a first window along the pressure ratio curve that is at or above a first threshold change value, and identifying an optimized position of the starting point by identifying a change in the pressure ratio values within a second window along the pressure ratio curve that is at or above a second threshold change value, wherein the second window is smaller than the first window, and the second threshold change value is smaller than the first threshold change value.

A trans-inductor voltage regulator (TLVR) circuit has multiple phases and a regulator block for each phase. Each regulator block is connected to an output capacitor of the TLVR circuit by way of a first winding of a corresponding nonlinear transformer. A second winding of the nonlinear transformers are connected in series with a compensation inductor. The first winding of the corresponding nonlinear transformer has a first inductance when a load current is at a first level, and the first winding of the corresponding nonlinear transformer has a second inductance that is less than the first inductance when the load current is at a second level that is higher than the first level.
